Welcome to Flash Fiction 250, a project devised by Richard Rooney to present 250 of his Flash Fiction stories, each written in exactly 250 words.

The stories travel across many genres: memories, sci-fi, supernatural, detective, political, ghosts, and a whole host of others that probably defy categorisation.
Despite appearances, none of these stories are autobiographical, but some are inspired by real events.
Richard is retired and lives in Liverpool, UK. He taught mass communications in universities in England, Europe, the Pacific and Africa for more than twenty years. Before that he was a newspaper journalist in the UK.
He is a member of the Garston Writers Group, which meets most Wednesday mornings in a district in Liverpool. Checkout the group’s Facebook page for more information.
