A modern fairytale
On the edge of a forest not fair away in a dilapidated cottage lived three elderly spinsters.
One day after breakfast they took their rifles and went hunting in the woods. They didn’t find any illegal immigrants so came home disappointed.
Imagine their surprise when they went into the kitchen and found an intruder had broken in and helped themselves to their breakfast cereal.
This angered the three sisters who were always on a trigger edge. ‘Look at this,’ one cried, ‘there are dirty footprints going up the stairs.’
Grabbing one of the guns, the eldest sister Tammy, who was the bossiest, slowly made her way up the stairs. The door to her bedroom was slightly open and she spied inside a tiny little man asleep on the bed. He was dark and swarthy and his clothes and hair were covered in mud.
Tammy yelled at him and he woke up in a start. She spoke so loudly and so quickly that the little man couldn’t understand a word she said. He didn’t speak English so when she told him to lay face down on the floor with his hands behind his head, he didn’t know what to do.
He babbled and waved his arms about a lot and then he tried to push past Tammy and escape through the door.
So, Tammy shot him quite dead. Then the sisters called the cops.
The man was an illegal immigrant and from that day forward everyone in the forest felt safe.
